The title of this article telegraphs the idea that there is something called God Consciousness...and that it is a real thing.

But there are lots of people who will say, "No, no, no...no such thing 'cuz there ain't no such thing as God."

Like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny or your kid's invisible friend, Mr. Poochy Bear.

Furthermore, people who claim to communicate directly with God are suspect. Most of us tend to think of such people as potentially unhinged.

Also, they can be, well, strident and annoying. And who needs that kind of crazy in their lives?

Let's face it, some of the people who have come down through history proclaiming that they have a direct line to God have met with unfortunate endings.

Like Joan of Arc.

Along with all this comes the group of people who claim to be the living son of God, AKA Jesus Christ...or go big or go home, the actual living God. Yes, some people claim to be God. Yes, the creator of the universe, and all that goes with it.

Here are just a few of the many examples (perhaps you will recognize some of them).









And so it goes.
Now we come to the part of the question I asked, "...and if there is, what is it?"

IF THERE IS GOD CONSCIOUSNESS, WHAT IS IT?

NOTE: This next section claims to come directly from God. The claim is that God dictated this by way of direct telepathy with a human being. The human being wrote down each word, exactly as God dictated to him. Crazy, eh?

If you could take in God’s consciousness, you would have some idea of how large big really is, how big bigger-than-big really is.

How big is infinity? Well, it is very, very big. That’s why I’ll call it bigger-than-big…so you can get your intellectual head round the concept of what I am about.

I am about getting you into me, merging your identity with mine and giving you that infinite perspective that you are sometimes not experiencing.

Imagine what it would be like to hear every sound on your planet at the same time AND know each sound, understand each sound, all at the same-time. Every sound made by everything that is making a sound, everywhere, on your planet, at the same-time, AND to know each sound, hear each sound being made, distinctly and completely, to know and understand all these sounds at the same-time. Not just the humans talking, but the sound of their hearts beating, the blood moving through their bodies, the sounds of their digestion…even the sounds that the atoms make…the sounds of the entire physicality of each person on your planet.

Now, extend that to every bit of your planet’s inhabitants, all the life-forms, and keep on going and get into hearing all the sounds…the rivers flowing, the lakes lapping ‘gainst the shores, the oceans hiss, the sound of every fish, every molecule, every tremour, every sound everywhere on your planet.

That’s what a tiny, tiny bit of god consciousness is, anyway. I am seeing and hearing everything everywhere all the time.

Not just on your planet, but everywhere, even where there is nothing to hear or see, I see and hear that nothingness.

Not only that, I taste every taste, smell every smell and touch every touch that can be touched.

And I have other senses, too. Senses that do not have names and defy the language of words and images that you currently are capable of hearing or imagining. But you can experience these senses that are not of your physicality. Oh yes, you can.

Imagine hearing all the sounds on every planet in all the cosmos AND knowing each one, separately, completely, with full knowledge of each separate sound.

Imagine hearing every conversation in every room of every house on your planet and being able to follow and know and remember EXACTLY every word, every sound, every ‘ah’ and ‘hmmm’ and ‘huh?’ and all the sounds in between in every language known and unknown.

Imagine.

That is a hint of what god consciousness is, what is going to happen to you and your consciousness as you evolve into me…as you come to know me, more and more.

Well, yes. And I am glad you asked because there are a lot of other sources that predate the current orgy of New Age blah-blah about the quantum field of all possibilites and consciousness and material creation intersecting, and so on.

Are you still with me? Yeah? No?

Let us get into some to of that Vedic stuff where a lot of the snibbly dibble dabble about the "field of all possibilities" gets smushed into how a human being can interact with the material creation...and that, in fact, all this material creation exists as an illusion, a changing, relative expression of something called "the absolute."

This is going to be a bit of a deep dive, so stick close to me as I take you through this stuff.




First of all, here are the three main players in the realm of NOT-Crypto-Crackpot Science...three real and genuine scientists of some repute who referenced the Veda as being of some influence on the way they worked their brand of some pretty deep shit.

Danish physicist and Nobel Prize winner, Niels Bohr was a follower of the Vedas. He said, “I go into the Upanishads to ask questions.”

Werner Heisenberg is in part known for his famous uncertainty principal. Heisenberg stated, “Quantum theory will not look ridiculous to people who have read Vedanta.”

(Yes, I know...Heisenberg is the alter ego of Walter White, the character from the series Breaking Bad.)

Schrödinger was an avid reader of the Vedic texts. He stated that his experiments in quantum physics were consistent with what he had studied in the Vedas. Incredibly, he is quoted as stating this: “The unity and continuity of Vedanta are reflected in the unity and continuity of wave mechanics. This is entirely consistent with the Vedanta concept of All in One.”

And here is one guy you are sure to recognize...and, surprise, surprise, here is a quote from this Total Brain.


Now don't get your knickers in a twist about this next section because I am going to be quoting from the Rig Veda. To make this even more crazy-jam to spread on your intellect, I am quoting from one of the many dieties, and the name of this deity is Indra.


 If you can leave out the supposed source of this statement and mull over the basic idea...well, perhaps it might make some kind of sense.

You know, the basic idea of all the Veda stuff is that self-realization has a set of specific steps and to know God is the final merging into God. 

Huh?

Yeah, I know. One oldy-but-a-goldy from the Veda-Shmeda is this one: "I am that, you are that, all this is that."


Great...cool. But what is the "that" that is being mentioned? That is what is beyond time and space. That is bigger than big and smaller than small. 

Here is a smattering of words to help dial you in a bit further into what is all this that is that. 

That is:

+ The unchanging, permanent, highest reality.

+ Is everywhere and inside each living being, and there is connected spiritual oneness in all existence.

+ The unchanging reality amidst and beyond the world.

+ Cannot be exactly defined.

+ The transcendent and immanent ultimate reality, Supreme Cosmic Spirit.

That helped a lot, didn't it?
